Abstract

The etiology of the chronic hepatitis is not established.
The classification and treatment are also controversy.
The incidence, clinical, laboratory features as well as the immunologic patterns vary greatly among different countries. In this review, the author try to present the current status of classification, etiological consideration, prognosis and treatment of chronic hepatitis.
